To clean, wash with mild dish soap and water. A soft sponge works great. Rinse and wipe right away with a dry dish cloth or paper towel. Keeping your board dry helps prevent it from drying out, cracking and/or warping. Do not allow liquids to sit on the wood for extended periods of time. Our wood boards are NOT dishwasher safe. Boskk's wood products are sealed with our board balm, a raw, food safe mineral oil and organic beeswax finish. This helps the wood look great longer and provides protection against liquids. If you start to notice the wood looking dry, refresh it with Boskk's board balm or with any food grade butcher block oil. Apply with a clean cloth or towel and allow to absorb. Remove excess and let dry. Repeat as necessary. DISCLAIMER: Our boards are not intended for use with sharp knives.
